Adding a vent to atmosphere Blow Off Valve on the Polaris RZR turbo system is a great way to improve throttle response and hear that awesome blow off valve turbo sound. With an ECU tune and higher boost levels, the Polaris RZR can gain 10-15 percent more power over stock. However the stock plastic diverter valve is ill equipped to handle this increase. One option is to replace this valve with an aftermarket diverter valve like Agency Power also offers. But for those that want to hear the whoooosh sound, there is this adjustable vent to atmosphere blow off valve! The purpose of a BOV is not just to sound cool, but it is designed to release the pressure that is built up in the charge side of the system. The factory diverter valve system dumps this pressure back down into the intake pipe. This can cause turbulence to the impeller, slowing the spool of the turbo down and causing premature wear. The Agency Power blow off valve for the Polaris RZR can be used in conjunction with the stock turbo inlet pipe or any aftermarket turbo hose pipe that has a 1 inch BOV flange. Since the factory valve is a diverter valve and this new valve is designed to be 100 percent vent to atmosphere, we include a high-temp push on plug cover for the eliminated return hose. Each Agency Power valve is machined from 6061 billet aluminum then anodized in a stealth black finish. The top is laser engraved with the Agency Power cursive logo and directions for adjusting. When the top of the valve rotates, this allows you to adjust the spring tension for your application. You can set the valve to easily vent off pressure or be stiffer to only vent at maximum PSI.
Agency Power’s Intercooler Duct Cover for the Can-Am Maverick X3 is a product that all X3 owners will want to be equipped with! This simple design change can greatly benefit your UTV’s performance and efficiency. By design, intercoolers work by taking the air flow from the outside to cool the hot air inside the intercooler parts. Getting more air flow to the intercooler helps with this process. This is why you will see automotive and off-road aftermarket users trimming up bumpers or grills to improve air flow. In the Can-Am X3 intercooled models, the air is directed to the intercooler with a cover that features ducts, scoops right behind the rear seats. These inlets on this cover feed the top side of the intercooler the fresh air it needs. Using the same location and improving the size of scoops Agency Power has created an OEM replacement product that is stylish and a great way to increase air flow to the intercooler. The Agency Power upgraded intercooler duct cover increases the center scoop from 1.5 inches to 4 inches tall and each side scoop from 1.5 inches to 2 inches with all keeping a 4 inch width. The intercooler duct cover increases the inlet air flow by over 40 percent from 32 cu in to 46 cu in. Made from a durable ABS plastic similar to the stock unit, it features a smooth black finish. The intercooler duct covers feature the AP logo and are designed to fit over the stock intercooler or the Agency Power intercooler. For those that want to customize further, the cover can be easily primed and painted by your local paint shop. Each kit comes with everything needed to snap into place. If you want to improve how your intercooler works at the track, on the trail, or in the dunes, then you must get the Agency Power Intercooler Duct Cover!
Upgrading the doors on the Can-Am Maverick X3 Max is one of the first mods most people do. This is to prevent debris from hitting you below the half doors that come from the factory. While there are many aluminum door products out there, Agency Power has designed the ultimate door upgrade available! The new Agency Power carbon fiber doors for the Can-Am Maverick X3 are available to fit the rear door of any X3 Max. The new Agency Power billet aluminum wastegate is the perfect upgrade for your Can-Am X3 turbocharger. The new wastegate features a 1bar spring housed in an 85mm body. This design allows you to easily change springs and service the wastegate if needed. As a direct bolt-on to your factory turbo, the wastegate features an adjustable rod for those that would like to set your crack pressure specifically to your build. Perfect for those looking to get better boost response out of the stock tune, an ECU flashed car, or even a turbo upgrade. Doing a back to back dyno test, we show how the wastegate improves boost response and performance over the stock wastegate. Set at 1 full turn in from neutral, the new Agency Power billet wastegate holds 1 psi more than stock gaining you 4hp.
An upgraded intercooler can greatly improve the performance of your Can-Am X3. Whether you are running a stock tune or a high performance big injector power kit, the intercooler will help drop charge air temperatures to keep the air going into your engine cooler. Cooler air is what every engine and turbocharger needs to performance at its highest level. The factory intercooler is very prone to heat soak with its location. This is why Can-Am has mounted a large fan to the bottom to help draw air through. When charge temperatures increase this robs you of substantial horsepower. The Agency Power intercooler upgrade for the Can-Am X3 is designed to improve this issue. For those that run their X3 hard, this is a must have upgrade. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory intercooler, it still utilizes the OEM fan and intercooler duct cover. It also works with the factory intercooler hoses or Agency Power blow off valve hose. With larger end tanks, the bar and plate core is 1.50 inches thicker than stock. To prove its function, we tested the intercooler back to back with a stock intercooler on a modified Can-Am X3. With the only variable being the intercooler, our testing scenario was to do full pulls on the dyno 5 times in a row and on the 6th run, data log the charge air temperatures. First we did the stock intercooler, then followed up with the Agency Power intercooler after a short break. From the graph, you can see how red line (Agency Power Intercooler) only spikes to 124F. The OEM intercooler spikes to nearly 130F. This is almost a 5 percent difference in temperature. The advantages of the intercooler were also seen when we tried to increase boost pressure on a big injector tune to 19psi. With the stock intercooler, the knock sensors were not happy. However once the intercooler was installed, the cooler charge temperatures allowed us to maximize performance for both a 91 and 100 octane tune at higher boost levels.
Upgrading the motor mounts on your Polaris RZR 1000 is a great way to improve performance and power delivery. The stock motor mounts are a cast piece which has a rubber insert that can move a lot under acceleration and braking. With this movement of the engine under load, you are delaying the power transfer and causing biased weight distribution. The harsh off-road conditions of aggressive driving and jumping can lead to further failures or damage to components. It is also common for rubber bushings to corrode and crack over time. Upgraded motor mounts are designed to limit the amount of movement that the engine and transmission produce in driving conditions. In addition to being a great upgrade over stock, the motor mount kit will give you a stout and responsive feeling under all driving conditions. The Agency Power 2 piece motor mount kit is made in the USA from billet 6061 aluminum. The parts are CNC machined to feature a sleek design with an OEM fitment. Each mount features a polyurethane bushing with a Shore Durometer of 88 to provide a perfect balance for weekend fun and competition needs. The mounts included machined aluminum spacers to fit with the factory motor mount tube. Each mount has two locating dowel pins for a precision fitment. The mounts have been anodized in our Agency Power smoke gray finish and feature a laser engraved Agency Power text logo on top.
